Legislators make decisions regarding John Doe and the GAB

Jonathan Brostoff - District 19
October 21, 2015
MADISON, WI - Today in Madison, those we send from across Wisconsin to represent the people at the state level will vote on issues that haunt us now with bad deeds.

We are pleased that Rep. Jonathan Brostoff - District 19, is on-the-job, per his recent update to his "district office".  He shared the fact that he is zooming in on the John Doe facts and the Campaign Financing facts of the GAB - Government Accountability Bureau.

To watch the proceedings, please follow the link provided below.http://www.wiseye.org/Programming/CoverageSchedule.aspx

They have been in session since the early AM of October 20, 2015 and have taken previous votes on the John Doe item already.

"I feel that the voting is riddled with bias and mischief.  They will take place to further disenfranchise the voters through hijacking and it is a traditional way of special interest, monopoly-oligopoly misuse of power.  The GOP side of the State House is busy in mischief and stacking the deck."  "It is this type of behavior and misuse of power that taxpayers frown on and it has a high-cost before-during-after investigations to get at the truth."  "Instead of addressing the issues of Misconduct that is related to John Doe Investigation, Republicans are making sure they are not held accountable and are not to be transparent in their actions while in office."

Doesn't this sound familiar?
Doesn't it sound like self-protectionist efforts?
Is this CORRUPTION.
Do you smell the John Doe Investigation of Scott Walker here?
Is this not the type of behavior of elected officials that presently have the Donald Trump mania?

Tune into Wisconsin Eye for today live streaming.

MPA CC Network Theme Song:
AIN'T NO STOPPING US NOW
McFadden & Whitehead - Artist

McFadden
Miscellaneous
Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now
Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We're on the move!
Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We've got the groove!

There's been so many things that's held us down.
But now it looks like things are finally comin' around.
I know we've got, a long long way to go,
and where we'll end up, I don't know.
But we won't let nothin' hold us back,
we're putting our selves together,
we're polishing up our act!
If you felt we've been held down before,
I know you'll refuse to be held down anymore!

Don't you let nothing, nothing,
Stand in your way!
I want ya'll to listen, listen,
to every word I say, every word I say!

Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We're on the move!
Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We've got the groove!

Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We're on the move!

Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We've got the groove!

I know you know someone that has a negative vow,
and if you're trying to make it they only push you aside.
They really don't have, no where to go.
Ask them where they're going, they don't know.
But we won't let nothin' hold us back,
we're gonna put our selves together,
we're gonna polish up our act!
And if you've ever been held down before,
I know you'll refuse to be held down anymore!

BREEZE'S, 340 W. Reservoir, was the launching pad for MPA Candidates Caucus NETWORK.

MPA Candidates Caucus Network is a hands-on Development arm of Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC and the All Hands on Deck, We Can Initiative.  Its purpose is to train, promote and support candidates in the 2016 Election - executive, legislative and municipal branches.
October 17, 2015 - Candidates of Districts 2, 7. 9 and Mayor
The 8 Candidates for 2016 present were:
  • PATRICK W. CASE - Candidate, Mayor
  • JACKIE CLARK - Candidate, Alderwoman District 2
  • RANDY JONES - Candidate, Alderman District 7
  • SHERMAN MORTON - Candidate, Alderman District 2
  • SEAN MUHAMMAD - Candidate, Alderman District 15
  • LARRESA TAYLOR - Candidate, Alderwoman District 2
  • JOHN WALLACE - Candidate, Alderman District 9
  • TEMEKA WILLIAMS - Candidate, Alderwoman District 7
Thoughts shared by candidates.
One of the prevailing thoughts discussed was the HOPE and survival of the children in Milwaukee.

Candidate John Wallace, District 9, as part of his ending remarks recited the first verse of the Greatest Love of All:
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be

Candidate Sean Muhammed, District 15, shared support for building Education in Milwaukee.  His support for Education in Milwaukee came while he was living in California.  He saw the despair given in a data report regarding the lack of achievement.  He is a Milwaukee Public School teacher and works with students.  He came to the meeting after a day as a coach.

Candidate Jackie Clark, District 2, spoke of her excitement and appreciation of the formation of MPA Candidates Caucus Network and looked forward to its support to make a difference.

Candidate Sherman Morton, District 2, spoke of his experience and interaction with the district as an assistant of Alderman Joe Davis.  He emailed that the meeting was worth the visit.

Candidate Patrick Case, Mayor, a citizen from the south side, ex-staffer of Milwaukee and running for the CEO position of Milwaukee, spoke of his desire to speak with others all over Milwaukee and build a coalition to improve the conditions in Milwaukee.  The meeting allowed the exchange and he looked forward to others.

Candidate Temeka Williams, District 7, spoke of her candidacy and her focus on Homelessness.  She shared that after the meeting, she would be working overnight in a Homeless effort.

Candidate Laressa Taylor, District 2, attended the meeting to hear about what the network offered.  She brought a supporter of her candidacy and long-time friend since 6th grade.

Candidate Randy Jones, District 7, spoke of his displeasure of how quality of life and economic development is so lacking in his district and his pursuit to make immediate and specific changes.

In addition to the candidates and two supporters was Minister Bonnie Melvin - MPA CCN District 4 Strategist.

She spoke of her support of MPA CCN, the importance of training and including the heads of household of all candidates in the pursuit of winning.  The way to foster "trust" with the voters is through accountability of the candidates.

Bishop Muhammed was present to support Jackie Clark.  He spoke of the importance of the candidates, "Keeping it Real", and saying what they mean and doing the same.

The host site is owned by Ms. Nancy.
She asked the candidates how they will get their message to the voters?  How the voters will see their plan?

Mary Glass shared that this is one of main and many strategies that will be the commitment of MPA Candidates Caucus Network.

***********

MPA LLC thanks Ms. Nancy, Ms. Bonnie, the supporters of the candidates and the 8 candidates for their investment of time and ideas for the betterment of their city.

About Us

The 2015-2016 People Platform Network of the City of Milwaukee is a statement of our ideology and what we are committed to achieving.  This statement is a visible reminder of the 21st Century need and asserted actions for everyday INCLUSION in public policies and social justice of People of Color and Work Challenged individuals of Milwaukee.

We seek to call-out, engage and elect individuals of the 3 branches of government - executive, legislative and judicial - for 2016 election - in the city, county, state and national government that are committed to their Oath of Office and U.S. Constitution.

We demand that those we support represent in mindset and outreach of office be to the families, heads of households (disabled,  re-entry incarceration and war) and their children, hidden talent and vetted businesses at the census tract and neighborhood level of Milwaukee.

We seek and support individuals that equally understand the burden on the day-to-day quality of life and economic development of the People of Milwaukee, especially African American, other People of Color and Work Challenged remain grave as long as Enduring Concentrated Poverty is perpetuated by behavior of elected-appointed-hired and donor-for-hire government representatives.

We look at existing disrespect, misuse of power,  discrimination, lack of due process, conflict of interest, cronyism, monopoly-oligopoly takeover, misuse of power and disenfranchisement of the People through misuse of assets and resources of the city of Milwaukee; especially all taxes, federal funding and use of the city coffers.

We seek NEW faces and NEW commitments that is followed by a workable plan that will help the Infrastructure of Milwaukee and help ensure quality of life (affordable housing, education attainment, gainful employment, health care, mental and dental health care, information technology, JUSTICE IN THE COURTS,  clean water, entertainment, art appreciation and safety matters) and economic development (increased employment opportunities, access and use of technologies, career options and wealth building).

We oppose the StreetCar project, NBA Bucks Mega Greed Deal,  Outsourcing of Milwaukee jobs, employment and NON-Inclusiveness of the CORE CONSTITUENTS - African American, other People of Color and Work Challenged Milwaukeeans.

We seek "candidates" who understand and face the issue of "RACE" and by-design Discrimination, two of the main reasons for Milwaukee's Tale of Two Cities - Caucasians vs People of Color, Haves vs Have-Nots, and/or Caucasians vs majority population of Milwaukee.

      We oppose incumbents who:

    • have failed to visit their districts and created a                     leadership, stewardship, fellowship, citizenship and             customer service relationship.
    • fail to listen to their constituents.
    • voted on issues that are/were not in the best interest of         their constituents - EVERYBODY in Milwaukee.
    • have not done homework.
    • seen on committee city videos to be asleep, nodding,           playing with Iphones and tablets - or ABSENT.
    • failure to respond to telephone calls and surveys for             better government of the city of Milwaukee.
    • missing in action of VOTING during committee                   meetings.
    • misuse of power, cronyism and lack of knowledge of           laws affecting making decisions of licenses,                         neighborhood property, strategic planning, and garden         lots to name a few.
    • untrained elected and hired representatives in offices           - unable to handle customer service.
    • representatives and staff not available during office             hours, often out and fail to respond to call (s).
    • elected representative failure to accept invitation for           neighborhood meetings.
    • elected representative conflict of interest and                       cronyism.
    • failure to get guidance from constituents as to                       direction of decision making and needs of the district           and city.
    • disrespect, misrepresentation of the facts and                       dictatory responses by elected officials and their staff.
MPA - Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC has the responsibility of exploiting all of the internet opportunities to drive the success of this network and we start with our "About us" introduction on the newly created MPA CANDIDATES CAUCUS Network website.
